WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN?

Fairy Hill Crafts.

Are you a beginner?  Would like to learn how to use a sewing machine?

Or have you already learnt the basics and want to progress to some of the following:

DRESSMAKING:

Do you love fashion? Do you want to start making clothes for yourself, your daughter or a friend?

Get some ideas by checking out the suggested classes described on the class list – but always remember that you can choose the exact content of your class.

Gifts for family and friends:INTERIOR DESIGN AND SOFT FURNISHINGS:

Do you love interior design?  Do you want to make Curtains or a Roman Blind for your home: Do you want to improve the insulation on your bedroom curtains – add a quality lining!

Can you find soft furnishings to match your colour scheme – it can be difficult to match fabrics and colour schemes. Learn how to use a Colour wheel and match up your colours!

HOBBIES – CRAFTS:

It’s so soothing and enjoyable to have a hobby like embroidery or needlework. Make colourful treasures for your home or personalised gifts for family and friends – so thoughtful and always appreciated.

Once you learn these skills, you can use them again and again.

DO YOU NEED your own SEWING MACHINE:

In an ideal world, it is preferable to use your own sewing machine but in the event that you do not own one, I can provide one for you to use.

WHERE TO BUY A SEWING MACHINE:   At the moment, I am buying my sewing machines from BROTHER.  A really good machine from BROTHER – a good basic model – costs approx €280.

TRY AND BUY THE BEST SEWING MACHINE YOU CAN AFFORD.  IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN CLOTHES OR SOFT FURNISHINGS, USING A GOOD QUALITY MACHINE WILL MAKE THE WORK EASIER AND WILL PRODUCE A BETTER STANDARD OF WORK.
